Please note, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you must display some colouring on your project - I'm sorry but we don't accept pre coloured images.

This week we are very kindly sponsored by Melonheadz

Our sponsor is very generously giving the winner of this challenge the prize of a digi bundle from their store.

Remember you need to claim your prize within 2 weeks as per the rules in the sidebar. Also please allow a few weeks for the sponsor to get back to you with any prizes. I'm sure you can appreciate that they are very busy.

Also don't forget we are also always looking for people to guest spot on our DT. So if you would like to be considered as a GDT, after your name on your entry add the letters GDT.

So let's get onto to what the team have made this week.

Ruth:  I've used the little boy and girl from the Snow Day bundle, coloured them with Promarkers then added to the white hammered card blank with foam pads.  I've cut a background using a steel die and then added the hand written Sizzix tag.

Hello.  This is Kym.  Well I decided to go "all out" with this Christmas card by using FOUR images from our sponsor Melonheadz Illustrating from the set "Christmas Clip Art - Junk Drawer - Black and White".  I have used the following images:  Father Christmas, Mrs Christmas, Dog and the Snow globe to make an 8x8 inch snow globe card.  I have coloured the images in with Promarkers.

Promarkers used:

Face/skin - Saffron, Oatmeal and Spice
Father Christmas - Red, Poppy Red, Crimson, Black and Ice Grey 1, 2, 3 and 4
Mrs Christmas - Red, Poppy, Crimson, Pine, Lush Green and Ice Grey 1, 2, 3 and 4
Dog - Saffron, Oatmeal, Spice, Cinnamon, Pine, Lush Green, Ice Grey 1 and 2, Poppy Red, Red and Crimson
Snow globe - Sandstone, Putty Saffron, Vanilla and Poppy Red.

Vic :-  Hi! I'm a guest designer this month and would love to share my card with you - I used a selection of images from Melonheadz - . I embossed the background with my bigshot and border-snowflakes embossing folder. I used the images: 'snowglobe' and 'north pole sign' (from the christmas clip art collection) and 'snowflake' (one of them, from the snow day collection.)To colour, I used my promarkers: Ruby (for the sign) and the warm grey collection..1,2,3, and 4, for the snowglabe bottom. I used a dot of stickles "diamond" -glitter glue - on the snowflakes - embossed and printed.
(The snowglobe image does not come with the "winter wonderland" wording on - I made that myself on my pc. )  This was quite a simple card to make.

Janet - I've used the image from Melonheadz Christmas clip art. I have coloured him using Prisma pencils.

Vic - Hi! It's me again! I could not resist making another card with the fabulous Melonheadz images... this time, I used one from the christmas clip art set - I also used two memory box dies - frostyville border (along the bottom) and country landscape.I added some small diecut stars around the sentiment  (which I think I got - free! - from Desert Diva crafts.)  The truck image was lovely to colour and glitter - I used my promarkers: ruby red, forest green and lime green. I also used the coll grey collection of promarkers, on the tyres and bumpers...

Jane S - Just love these fabulous Christmas Clip Art Junk Drawer images and I have coloured them with markers and pencils. Colours listed on my blog.

Just fabulous as always ladies.

Ruth:  I've used two of the cute images from the sponsor, the first is Benson and Betty which I've coloured with Promarkers.  Snowflakes are a metal unbranded die and the ribbons are from my stash.  I've handwritten the little Sizzix tag.

The second image I've used is Christmas Penguin and I've also coloured him with Promarkers but made it into a slider card.  I've embossed the background with a Cuttlebug folder and the sentiments are Tim Holtz Sizzix dies.  And yes, it really does slide!

Michelle: Hi!   have create a ice land slider card for this weeks challenge, using Christmas Penguin from our sponsor , Crafty sentiments designs.

Penny:  Hi, I chose the image Snowman At the Window from our sponsor Crafty Sentiments Designs.  I used Copic markers to color this image using colors E13, E15, E18, G05, B00, N0, N01, YG03-YG13, YG17, Y08, y28, RV02 and White Uniball Opaque pen.  I added Yellow Stickles and Stardust Stickles along with eyelet outlet snowflakes.  I found the Believe bauble among my buttons in my button box.

Hello.  This is Kym here.  I have decided to make another Christmas card this week.  I have used the Crafty Sentiments image called "Benson and Betty". I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and added Nuvo white pearl drops and used to add texture to their hats and add some snow.  The Promarkers I used are:

Bears - Sandstone, Khaki, Putty, Cinnamon and Burnt Sienna
Clothing - Ice Grey 2, Red, Poppy, Crimson, Pine and Holly
Sky - Pastel Blue.

Janet Hi everybody, I've used Betty and Benson from Crafty Sentiments. I've coloured them using Copic and Tria pens. Plus texture paste for the hats and snow. I know Benson is a bear but I've made them look like snow people as an alternative.

Julia Hi there I have used Christmas Penguin & I am normally a copic girl but today I coloured up this image with my Ecoline pens, I have kept the card quite simple. Full details on my blog.

Lisa - I have used an image from our Sponsor Crafty Sentiments Designs called Christmas Couple and available here:
